Academy filter flasks are made from 3.3 Borosilicate glass and designed for vacuum filtration. They feature a glass side-arm for the attachment of 9mm bore Vacuum tubing

Please note: it is not recommended that these flasks are heated over a Bunsen Burner.

Top Tips

Adding a small amount of washing up liquid to the outside of the side arm and the inside of the vacuum tubing will make it easier to attach vacuum tubing to the side arm of this flask.
The flasks have been designed for vacuum filtration purposes and are not recommended for heating over a Bunsen Burner.
