This mixed rock boxed set comes with 20 specimens and is ideal
for educational school, college and university use or individuals who simply
have an interest in geology.
The
collection exhibits a broad variety of rock types; igneous, metamorphic and
sedimentary, from coarse grained plutonic granites to desert sandstones,
offering an opportunity for the user to sharpen their rock identification skills
and become more familiar with the characteristics of igneous, metamorphic and
sedimentary rocks.
Each
specimen is housed within its own plastic compartment which correlates to a
coloured data sheet on the inside of the lid of the cardboard box.
