Perform the classic 3-step Kastle-Meyer test for blood using the premixed solutions in this convenient kit. In the test's final step, the sample is treated with hydrogen peroxide, which reacts with haemoglobin and phenolphthalein to produce a bright pink colour. The test detects both human and animal blood. Enough reagents for approximately 6 tests per kit are included.

Instructions
A few drops of alcohol (Ethanol) is also required for the procedure (not included).
Very small amounts of solutions are provided in the kit.
The reaction takes place on the tip of a cotton bud and reagents are added drop by drop.
