Osteoporosis is a systemic bone disease, causing reduction of bones and deterioration of bone structures, thus causing bone fragility and make bones easy to fracture.
This model shows the bone change part of 11th and 12th thoracic bone.
This osteoporosis model comprises several divided parts : two detachable parts of hemi-vertebrae that are magnetically attached to the vertebrae model of osteoporosis ; two detailed pictures on the base to demonstrate microarchitecture of the osteoporosis bone. The use of magnetic force makes it extremely convenient to remove the vertebra part in the middle, so as to offer anatomy or medical learners further observations of bone osteoporosis to view fractured upper part.
